Lectures in Mexico and Tsjech Republic

Throughout the years I have done many lectures, round tables, discussion groups all around the world. From very scientific, but also very practical. It is always a pleasure to share knowledge and experiences with other people. On this page you can find two examples of lectures.

CIGAL

In 2007 I was invited to give a lecture on Cigal, a big event for the dairy industry in Mexico. This lecture was about the latest nutritional developments in calf nutrition. In this lecture I elaborated on the impact of nutrition of a young calf on later life performance. Off course also in which way this can be done best by explaining differences in feeding schedules, ways to prepare milk and composition of dry feed.

Veterinary Center Susice, Tsjech Republic

In 2012 I had the honour to be invited to a seminar organised by Veterinary Center Susice, Tsjech Republic. This time the topic was about “New Insights in the Nutrition of Fresh Cows”. A very nice story as the nutrition of fresh cows has a big impact on the performance of the dairy cows. Especially on Fertility and Life Time Performance. This story also shows that the top 3 Life Time Performance producers in the Netherlands are capable to reach a level >70.000 kg in the life of a cow!

Ruminant Nutrition advice by Nutrivice Consultancy

Many consultants can tell you what could be improved on your dairy farm. Far fewer can propose the right measures and actually implement them.
The consultants at Nutrivice Consultancy specialize in both identifying and implementing the correct solutions.

We design rations for all groups of dairy cattle on your farm. It doesn’t matter whether you work with TMR, PMR, concentrate feeders, milking robots, or individual ingredients. We use the latest scientific nutritional standards. As an independent nutrition consultancy, we do not produce feed ourselves and are not tied to any specific feed manufacturers. This allows us to remain completely independent and tailor our advice to what works best for your farm, regardless of where you source your feed.
