Our team

In 2012 Peter founded his own company Nutrivice Consultancy. As management consultant he uses his working experience, knowledge and network to give nutritional and management advice to large dairy farms, feed suppliers and milk processors around the world.

After his study, Peter moved to Denmark, where he worked for the joint venture Coppens International B.V., Hans Sonniksen A/S and Axel Toft Grovvarer A/S. He was Sales Manager and nutritionist at the same time, consulting and selling on Dutch dairy farms. Farmers who have emigrated from the Netherlands to Denmark.
On average, he visited 10-15 farms a week and in almost every visit, it was about analyzing data, looking at the cows, calculating rations, making advises and discuss with farmers about things to improve. This he did during 5,5 years and it gave him a tremendous farm experience from which he still benefits today.

After 5,5 years Peter decided to move to another company: Joosten Products B.V., a company belonging to the Provimi Group. Joosten Products is specialized in producing milk replacers. Peter was working there for 5 years as Technical Director and became an expert in young animal nutrition, especially in calves, piglets and milk replacers. Joosten Products B.V. exports to all parts of the world, which enabled him to visit many countries, many Joosten customers, Joosten Business Partners and many farms all over the world.

After that he joined Trouw Nutrition International, where he became Global Product Manager Ruminants and later Global Species Manager Ruminants. In this role he was leading the ruminant world within Trouw Nutrition/Nutreco, and it further enhanced him knowledge in the dairy area. Within Nutreco, he led the Global Innovation and Product Management, chaired Species Councils, the Nutreco Ruminant Platform Meeting, Nutreco Ruminant Academy and visited and consulted on many dairy and beef farms all over the world. Not to consult himself, but to help the Nutreco colleageus to consult better.

After completing his studies, Björn worked as a practicing veterinarian for 15 years, the last 10 of which were in the Dutch provinces of Brabant and Limburg. In the early years of his career, he mastered the ambulatory aspects of veterinary work. Later, as a managing veterinarian, he focused entirely on herd management for dairy cattle and dairy goat farms. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of herd health, including udder health, hoof care, fertility management, and the implementation of structured working protocols.

In addition to this, Björn has also gained international experience. In countries such as France and Wales, he has been exposed to many different approaches to farm management. On behalf of external companies such as feed suppliers, dairy processors, and pharmaceutical firms, Björn has also conducted audits on dairy goat farms throughout the Benelux region.

Driven by his strong interest in the combination of economics and nutrition, Björn started working as a consultant at Nutrivice Consultancy in September 2019. In his role as an independent nutrition advisor, he supports dairy cattle and dairy goat farms in Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond. His main priority is to design rations transparently, in close cooperation with his clients, while also paying attention to overall farm management. His goal is always to achieve strong technical and economic results with an emphasis on good animal health and optimal lifetime production.

Thanks to his dual background as a veterinarian and independent nutrition advisor, Björn is able to take a unique helicopter view of his clients’ farms. This allows him to provide broad, integrated advice, from which he develops practical plans to help achieve the established goals.

Ritchie grew up on a beef cattle farm, so his interest and passion for both dairy and beef cattle have been there from a young age. He has always worked part-time on various farms and continues to do so today. Not only does he enjoy the work, but he also finds it important to stay closely connected to practical farming.

During his studies, Ritchie took many courses related to animal nutrition, giving him a strong theoretical foundation. As an independent feed advisor, he now applies this knowledge in practice.

At Nutrivice Consultancy, Ritchie aims to further develop himself as an all-round consultant. He believes it is important that farmers can rely on him. Seeing and unlocking the potential of a farm is what drives him. Nutrition is a key engine of performance on a dairy farm. By providing the right advice on feeding and management, he strives to achieve optimal results together with the farmer — satisfied cows and a satisfied farmer.

After obtaining his HAVO diploma, Corné went on to study Agricultural Entrepreneurship with a specialization in Animal Management at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Dronten. Following his graduation, he spent more than two and a half years in Kenya, supporting fellow dairy farmers in managing large and medium-sized farms. It was there that he mastered the art of consultancy down to the finest details.

After returning from Kenya, Corné became farm manager at Bles Dairies in Friesland. During this period, he developed into a true expert in robotic milking — milking robots hold no secrets for him. He also proved himself to be a genuine cow enthusiast, achieving impressive results with production levels of 47–48 liters of measured milk per cow.

Now, Corné brings his knowledge and expertise together at Nutrivice Consultancy. In his role as a consultant with hands-on barn experience, he supports dairy farmers around the world in making day-to-day decisions. With his drive and strong data analysis skills, Corné is a valuable addition to our team.

After his studies, Wietse began working at Vreba Melkvee BV as an animal caretaker. There, he gained extensive experience with large dairy farms and became an expert on cow management. He knows everything about barn animal management, particularly when it comes to sick cows, calves, and special cases. He is now looking to expand and further develop his knowledge in animal nutrition.

Wietse excels when it comes to innovation, always spotting new challenges and opportunities. As a dairy farmer, he is a true early adopter, knowledgeable in his actions and careful in trying new approaches. He has strong expertise in nutrition, always seeking to understand feed ingredients, rations, and how cows respond to them.

We see Wietse as a valuable addition to our team and have full confidence that, as a consultant, he will advise and support our clients to their complete satisfaction.

She completed the Animal Health program at Van Hall Larenstein in Leeuwarden. After graduating, she worked for 10 years as a researcher at a company in Wageningen, where she conducted and analyzed practical trials on dairy farms in the north of the Netherlands. She then moved to a feed producer, where she spent five years working as a Quality Manager.

In 2022, Anke joined Nutrivice Consultancy, strengthening our team in the role of Quality Manager.

With an extensive background as a financial coordinator and local and database marketer, Maike brings structure and clarity to her work. She is a true self-starter who anticipates tasks before they are assigned. She monitors deadlines, manages and optimizes business processes, and ensures that everyone stays focused. Her positive energy and pace bring dynamism to the team, making projects not only successful but also enjoyable. With her client-oriented and positive approach, she ensures that clients enjoy working with her.
